Nowadays, internet is very popular and well known by the users of it. Internet users are known as “Internet Citizen” or simply “Netizen”. These people interact with each other using internet.
Being a responsible netizen is easy. It is because you will only avoid something that can harm or offend other netizen. Putting or posting something that can harm others in the internet can’t be retrieved or deleted. Once it is in the net, it’s there forever and if it’s all a lie, it would ruin the life of the person you intrigue with. Another thing to avoid is using bad words or trash talking to others.
I, myself, can tell that I’m a responsible netizen because I avoid watching pornographic films in the internet, it’s simply because this can lower my spiritual health and morality. I also avoid putting and posting of wrong information in the internet. Putting wrong information in the internet can cause wrong output for those who will be using it. These are some things that I am avoiding but to be a good netizen, you must do something good. Examples are using internet as a reference in my study. Internet is full of different information where you can surf with. Using internet may also improve and gain more knowledge that you haven’t known yet. I also respect other netizen like they are my family. Because if you show respect to other netizen, they will also respect you the way you respect them. I also accept what other netizen wanted to do. I even accept their suggestion if I think it will help me and if it will not offend others. Accepting others suggestion makes you more sociable, how to be humble and open-minded.
I am a responsible netizen because I help other netizen whatever their problems are. Helping others is good and it feels great. There is a saying “It’s better to give than to receive”. Giving informations that can help others without doubt and with all of our heart is a way to be sociable and makes our God happy. So if I were you, I’d be a helpful person and a responsible netizen.
